Whether you’re near or far, have peace of mind knowing that you've taken proactive measures to safeguard your home with Hedge. Hedge is a user-friendly and cost-effective home monitoring and security system offered by American Family Insurance. It includes an array of smart devices, round-the-clock alerts and escalations, and a mobile app that seamlessly integrates all the features.

With the Hedge App, your system will automatically activate when you leave your home. This means that if any of your devices detect any unusual or potentially problematic activity, such as unexpected movement or water accumulation, you'll promptly receive a notification on your smartphone. By simply opening the app, you can view the live feed from your SmartCam or quickly review recorded video clips to determine if any action needs to be taken to restore the safety and security of your home.

Your Hedge devices will notify you through the Hedge App about the following:

• Doors and windows being opened
• Motion and noise
• Water accumulation
• A deviation in humidity/temperature outside of your chosen range
• Smoke and carbon monoxide detectors sounding*

*Please note that while SmartCams cannot detect smoke or carbon monoxide directly, they are designed to listen for the 3100Hz frequency emitted by standard detectors. In the event of an issue, they will alert you.

The Hedge App also offers the following benefits:

• An "auto-arm" feature that automatically activates your system when you leave home
